I Do What I Love

I am an artist whose hobby has become a career. I am a Professor of Animation at Minnesota State University Moorhead, talking about my favorite subject several times a week. When I mentor students on their future careers, I am completing a circle that started when I was on the other side of the desk, 15 years ago.

Originally from the Texas Panhandle, I have spent the past 20 years in the Fargo/Moorhead Area. After a short career in Tech Support, I decided to go back to school to pursue my artistic interests at (you guessed it) Minnesota State University Moorhead. I graduated with my B.S. in Graphic Communications in 2009, launching a freelance business providing 3D art and animation for local advertising and education.

I have been teaching 3d Modeling and Animation as an adjunct for the past five years. This past Fall I was hired as a full-time Professor. I am completing my MFA in 3D Character Animation at the Academy of Art University.
